1. We are off to see Coldplay at the Gorge this weekend and to celebrate our upcoming 15th anniversary. Can't wait for Viva la Vida and Fix You...oh and In My Place and The Scientist and Violet Hill and 42 and Trouble. I just can't wait.
2. Also, this month, there are two concerts at The Red Room that I am really really looking forward to: Great music right here in the good ol' Tri-Cities. I'll be there for sure!
3. Recently an article appeared on the front page of our local paper about my father-in-law and our farm, and specifically our bird abatement program, it's pretty interesting stuff about how falcons protect our blueberry crop...you can read it here and check out all the pictures here.

I really enjoyed that article by the way. It was so interesting. I don't get the paper, but my boss recognized the name Lott and knew I knew you. I was so glad that she made that connection.

I read that article too. I thought it was such a cool idea. Wish I could have some falcons to guard my garden.
